South Korea wants to examine possible arms deliveries to Ukraine

South Korea’s National Security Advisor Chang Ho-jin said in a briefing to reporters that his country would review the possibility of supplying weapons to Ukraine. Seoul, together with the international community, would respond firmly to any action that threatened its security, he added. South Korea has so far only supported Ukraine with equipment for mine clearance. The country’s new stance may have been triggered by the new strategic agreements between Russia and North Korea. The South Korean presidential office already said on Thursday that Russia’s agreements with North Korea would worsen Seoul’s relations with Moscow.
